Appraisal:
DJ’s Jewelry offers FREE insurance appraisals on any merchandise purchased from us. We also appraise merchandise not purchased from us; the first item is $100.00 and additional items (appraised at the same time) are $75.00 each. To have an insurance appraisal done you can either leave the merchandise with us like a normal repair, or make an appointment in advance.
We recommend having your appraisals updated every five to ten years, or when there is a spike in material prices to insure your appraisal is still accurate.
Beading / Re-Stringing:
We do all kinds of Beading / Re-Stringing. If you have Gem Stones; not just limited to pearls, or some kind of bead that you would like to have strung we do offer custom stringing. We can string any design you have in mind.
You can also have a design you already have re-strung. This includes broken strands. Even if you have some parts missing, we can get just about any part you need. (See store for pricing and time frame options.)
Diamond Importers:
We LOVE Diamonds! It is one of our areas of Expertise and definitely an area we are VERY passionate about. We recommend diamonds that are G or better in Color and SI or better in Clarity. We can get ANY shape and size you would like. As well as any Clarity or Color you would like; including Fancy Color Diamonds. That said we ALWAYS recommend seeing the diamond you are purchasing before you buy it.
There are many, many, many options when looking at a diamond and all the options play into the price. With Diamonds you Defiantly can see what you are paying for. Which is why we want to make sure you are paying for what you want, and why we are more than happy to go over any questions you have about diamonds with you. You do not need an appointment for this.
There is a brief diamond education on our website for you to see, but would much rather show you in person. Diamonds really are something that is better seen than read about. Which is why we get in the diamond you are think you want as well as the diamond we think you will LOVE and let you see the difference for you self and choose which you want.
For centuries now lovers have used Diamonds to represent their love and how it will last for all eternity; like the beautiful diamond they choose to represent it. Ear Piercing:
We offer FREE ear piercing for our customers who purchases a pair of earrings from us. The earrings can be any style or size (needs to be priced at $35 or more.). We do not actually pierce with these earrings. We have Stainless Steel, Gold plated earrings that are sterilized and ready for piercing that we pierce with; they are available in the birth stone colors and need to be worn for the recommended healing time. After the recommended time period; and your ears are healed, you can change them to the earrings you purchased.
You do not need an appointment to do this, however one is recommended.
Engraving:
In always doing our best to stay at the fore-front of the jewelry industry we have a state of the art engraving machine that can engrave just about anything. We can engrave on everything from precious metals like gold, silver, and platinum to wood, even glass.
The reason we got this engraving machine is to be able to offer our customers the best service possible with the most options, including personalization.
If you have something you would like engraved bring it by the store and we can tell you if we can engrave it and how much to engrave it. Please keep in mind we do offer a discount on your engraving when you purchase what you are having engraved from us.
Most of the time we can even have engraving finished for you same day, just let us know when you come in what kind of time table you are hoping for.
Eye Glasses Temporary Repair:
Most of us at DJ’s where glasses, so we know what a pain it is to be with out your glasses. Even for the short time it takes to get a new pair from the optometrist when your glasses break. So we offer a temporary repair to help get you from your broken pair to your new pair.
We are not an optometrist, so we do not have parts for eye glasses, offer adjustments, or do actual eye glasses repair. This temporary repair is for breaks in the frames of your glasses that can be soldered back together. As solder with a flexible metal (which is what we work with) next to a brittle metal (which is usually what glasses frames are made from) forms a weak spot, this repair is not intended to be permanent and will not take adjusting. It will however keep you from being blind while you wait for your new eye glasses to arrive.

Financing:
DJ’s Jewelry offers financing (based on approval) through “GE Money Luxury." “Same as cash” / no interest accounts are available at the time of purchase depending on the amount of the purchase ($600 = 6 Months Interest Free, $1,000 = 1 Year Interest Free).
Layaway Plans are also available through DJ’s Jewelry (no approval necessary).

Gem Stones come from all over the world. Each continent offers a different atmosphere and unique attributes to the gems found there. At DJ’s we will help you find the perfect gem stone for your project. We can get any kind of gem stone in any size you are searching for.

Gift Wrapping:
We offer FREE Gift Wrapping of any items purchased from DJ’s Jewelry. Presentation is very important in gift giving, especially in romantic moments. You can easily turn a Romantic special moment into a fumble if you don’t have your presentation set up. So we do everything we can to give you a memorable presentation.
Gift Certificates:
DJ’s Jewelry offers gift certificates in any denomination for any occasion.
Jewelry Cleaning:
Any time purchased from DJ’s Jewelry is always gets FREE cleaning. We recommend having your jewelry cleaned and checked for wear and tear every 3 months. It helps keep your jewelry sparkling and lets us let you know of any possible maintenance needed before it becomes a problem.
We do clean and inspect jewelry not purchased from us as well when you have work done on it with us, or are in doing other business with us. The price depends on the amount of jewelry you are bringing in to have cleaned. You can also bring in your silver utensils, platters, pitchers, etc for cleaning. Bring in your items you wish to have cleaned and we can give you a price and time line (where applicable) to have it cleaned.
Jewelry Plating:
Jewelry plating at DJ’s is rhodium plating, and cannot be done on all jewelry. Mostly we plate white gold that is not as white as you would like it to be. The plating does wear off over time and the length of time it lasts does depend on what you are doing while wearing your jewelry. Strong chemicals including but not limited to bleach, ammonia, and chlorine can shorten the amount of time the plating will last.
If you have plating on your jewelry already that is not even or is coming off only in some areas, we do not recommend re-plating because the new plating will not be even. The metal under the plating can and will effect the new plating.
We do not have the set-up for large items such as serving platters, silver wear, etc. If you are curious about your jewelry item that you want to have plated, bring it in we can tell you if it can be plated.
Jewelry Purchasing:
We buy large amounts gold, platinum (weighing 1 ounce or more), and some diamonds (depending on the quality) for scrap. Once they are purchased, we send them to a scrap house, so they are not available for repurchase. In order to sell an item to us you need to be 18 years of age and have a valid ID / Driver’s License. If we do not purchase what you are attempting to sell, there is a $1.00 fee for each metal / stone we test. (If your gold or platinum does not weight 1 ounce or more, you can always trade-it in towards new jewelry. See "Up-Grading")
Jewelry Repair:
“If it is Jewelry, DJ’s Does it!” This is not just a motto at DJ’s. It is the truth about us. We can do just about anything with jewelry and we do. Sizing of rings and chains, chain repairs, stone tightening, prong work, ring cracks, stone cutting and polishing, watch repair, jewelry plating, jewelry enameling, and much, much more.

Layaway:
DJ’s Jewelry offers a 3-month, interest-free layaway with a minimum deposit of 20%. The balance of the layaway is to be paid in full within 3 months of the original purchase date. If the customer fails to pay off the balance at the end of the allotted time frame and fails to contact DJ’s to make arrangements, then a 15% restocking fee as well as the cost of any alterations will be deducted from the customer’s balance and a store credit will be issued. (Extended Payment Options are available for larger purchases.)
DJ’s Jewelry Does Not Give Refunds.
There is a $10.00 Late Payment Charge per month and a charge of 1.65% per month on layaways left over 90 Days.

We have a Really Good selection of Jewelry in our show cases. We try to have a little bite of everything. And we can size or alter anything to make it exactly what you are looking for.
If we do not have what you are looking for in our show cases we can also order in Jewelry. We have GREAT connections and can get in anything you are looking for. We have catalogues in our store you can browse through and see what you would like to order in.

Trade-Ins:
While we only purchase gold and platinum if it weighs over 1 once, you can trade-in any weight toward a New Jewelry purchase. We give you twice the scrap current market scrap value toward the Jewelry you are purchasing. However you can only Trade-In up to half of your purchase. For Example if you are trading in $1,000 you need to purchase $2,000.
You do not need an appointment to trade jewelry in toward new jewelry. If we do test your jewelry (which we have to do to give you a trade-in value) then it dose cost $1.00 per item tested that you do not trade-in. You must be at least 18 years old and have a valid government issued ID to trade-in your jewelry.
Up-Grading Jewelry:
We always encourage our customers to come back and Up-Grade their jewelry. There is no time limit on how soon or how far out you can Up-Grade your purchase from DJ's Jewelry. The only limitation is that we do not trade across. It must be an "Up-Grade"; must be at least twice the trade-in value. (Example: If Up-Grading an item purchased for $1,000.00, you must Up-Grade to something at least but not limited to $2,000.00)
We also take items not purchased from us as a Trade-In toward and up-grade. The amount of trade-in for these items varies depending on their current market scrap value. We give twice scrap value toward your trade-in. The same Up-Grade policy applies; the item being purchased must be at least twice the trade-in amount.

Warranty / Guarantee:
All merchandise is guaranteed to be what the description on the sales receipt states it to be; free of manufacturer's defects.
Our Jewelry should be trouble free. If it breaks because of a manufacture defect we will fix it. We cannot warranty wear and tear as we can not control what happens to our jewelry once it leaves our shop. Any damages or repairs needed because of abuse or wear and tear are not warranted. It will be left to the discretion of DJ’s Jewelry to determine the limits of our liability for repairs or replacement.
Wish Lists:
Shopping for someone you love isn’t easy. Especially when you are shopping for something that you are hoping they will love and wear every day. And it is almost impossible to get the right length chain, bracelet, and anklet or ring size with out having the recipient present. This defiantly ruins the surprise.
So we came up with the “Wish List”. When you or your loved ones come into our store and find something that you love and would love to be surprised with we take down the information about it, including what size you would like. Then when your loved ones want to surprise you they come in, give us your phone number and we can show them your wish list and they can choose from it what they would like to surprise you with.
It is wonderful for you and them because you are getting exactly what you want and they are able to give you the jewelry you love and will wear every day because you love it. Win-Win!
